The first set of wagons are all based on the Railway Clearing House (RCH) 9ft. wheel base 16ft. 6in long wooden under frame type. This is the steel sub frame with dummy brakes etc.

5 and 7 plank open wagons with any permutation of side door, end door and bottom doors are available.

1 and 3 plank or on the drawing board.

Also for the 9ft. Under frame is a pitched roof salt wagon.

The second set will be for the 10ft wheel base 17ft 6in long steel under frame.

The under frame is being proved the bodies for it are being developed.

When the 10ft steel under frame above is proved I will go on to produce the similar 16ft wheel base 24ft long steel under frame for brake vans, and 12ft wheel base LNER under frame.

After several requests from potential customers I have started to do narrow gauge wagons also. The first is based on a Festiniog Railway mineral wagon in both 16mm and 5” gauge. The body is available to order. The under fame will be developed when I can find some time.

LNER Gresley Bogie, light weight version for normal coaches. Just a steel laser cut basic frame or in G3 a kit complete with wheels, axleboxes and white metal cast side overlays and spring detail.

Photo shows G1 with wheels added, G3 as supplied and 5” gauge frame.

Many of the individual parts required to build wagons can be bought separately to add more detail to the kits or to build different wagons from scratch. Drawings are available for those wishing to do the entire job themselves.

It may be possible to make simple bespoke adjustments to kits or parts for a small additional cost.
